IWAEM is focused on the improvement of water and atmospheric environment quality. The main goal is to aim at the international frontier and hot topic in the field of environmental science and engineering, and to solve the real impending environmental problem in China.

Key Projects and program

IWAEM presides and participates in a broad range of key projects on aquatic environment and air pollution control in China. Some projects are fund by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) of China, National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the Ministry of Water Resources (MOWR) of China, the Ministry of Education (MOE) of China, the Ministry of Environmental Protection (MOEP) of China.
